Derrick approaches sales as a form of service, driven by a deep curiosity about human psychology and communication. Before joining The Nathan Clark Team, Derrick authored two books and became a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt), specializing in helping clients overcome imposter syndrome. Through this work, he discovered that even the most transformative solutions only create impact when they are effectively communicated, leading him to master one of the most valuable skills in business: connecting with people.
To sharpen his abilities, Derrick challenged himself to make more than 20,000 cold calls in a 30-day period, turning an area of discomfort into one of his greatest professional strengths. He now brings that same determination to real estate, delivering rapid response, exceptional service, and lasting client relationships.
A military veteran, former firefighter, husband, and proud father of four daughters, Derrick brings a unique blend of resilience, problem-solving, and empathy to every client interaction. He holds degrees in Cybersecurity and Emergency Management from American Military University and is currently pursuing an MBA through Western Governors University. Whether he is training, traveling, or spending time with family, Derrick is guided by a commitment to integrity, service, and meaningful connections.
